Please note, if the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area Supplement. If this post is an Executive or Senior Manager (ESM) role or Medical Leader position this supplement is not applicable. If you are taking up this post on a part time basis, your salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified and registered Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic pharmacy team in Specialised Commissioning, West Midlands Hub. This is a secondment / fixed term opportunity until March 2019.


The post holder will support the Hub Pharmacy Lead to ensure that NHSE Commissioning Policies in relation to High Cost Drugs are implemented consistently and appropriately across the West Midlands.   Your role will  include information analysis related to the use of high cost drugs to support delivery of an effective service.


Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services, BTEC Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent qualifications and must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
