If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic finance professional to join NHS England South West Specialised Commissioning team.
As a Finance Analyst your responsibilities will include:-
•Contribute to the monthly management accounts process and information management of performance, taking a lead for specific areas of spend.
•Update, maintain, organise, gather and analyse information to predict/meet future organisational and team needs by identifying best professional practice.
•Undertake complex and detailed information analysis of specific data/reports requiring high levels of concentration.
•Monitor and evaluate risks and issues using a tracking mechanism to enable a proactive resolution and escalation processes.
•Provide coordination of and participate in relevant meetings, reporting and providing information advice and support where requested.
Applicants would ideally be part-qualified CIMA or equivalent with relevant management accounts and NHS experience.
To be successful in this pivotal role you must be able to demonstrate good relationship management skills, as the post holder will work closely with other members of the finance team and other internal functions, as well as the staff of service providers and other commissioners.
