If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

NHS England Midlands and East are seeking to recruit an experienced professional into the role of Head of General Practice Nursing Programme to manage and support the successful delivery of the GP Nursing programme of work across the region to achieve strategic objectives and priorities for the NHS. The post is fulltime on a fixed term or secondment until 31 March 2019.
As a Head of General Practice Nursing Programme within the Nursing Directorate, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Midlands and East Region to develop, implement and assure a range of clinical programmes to develop General Practice Nursing within the context of the GP Forward View Programme.
The role provides an excellent opportunity for someone who wishes to work across a wider geography to gain skills and experience beyond local boundaries.
