If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The post holder will support the Assistant Head of Finance and their team to ensure that the work stream of programmes are planned, managed effectively and assist in their successful delivery.

In particular the post holder will:

• Cover Direct Commissioning & Public Health Finance
• Support the team with the delivery of projects, by gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary
• Ensure financial information is processed accurately and in accordance with procedures and national guidance
• Investigate financial enquiries, providing assistance and advice
• Ensure that work is completed in line with financial timescales and legal requirements
• Be a key member of the team as well as supporting effective communication and stakeholder management, both internally and externally

The post holder will be based in Chelmsford but occasional travel will be required within the East of England.
