If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The East of England Specialised Commissioning hub is seeking to appoint an Administration Support Assistant to join a friendly and dynamic team commissioning specialised services in the East of England.
The position will be Fixed Term with a view to starting as soon as possible to cover a secondment arrangement until 30th September 2019 and will be on a full time basis (37.5hrs per week).
The post holder’s duties will include: managing colleagues’ diaries; organising and providing administration support to internal/external meetings with a wide variety of stakeholders involved; preparation of agendas and minute taking with follow up of participants’ actions as required; supporting the team with administration of contracts, projects and service reviews; gathering information and undertaking enquiries as and when necessary for the head of department, teams and associated colleagues; supporting and providing cover to other administrators in the team; arranging travel and accommodation; acting as a first point of contact for enquiries from external organisations and the general public. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organisational skills with a keen attention to detail; have a good working knowledge of Word and Excel; work effectively in a close team setting and have the ability to prioritise their own workload. They should also be a quick learner with a willingness to develop their understanding of the responsibilities of the team in order to appropriately deal with queries and routine matters.
