If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

South East (KSS) Clinical Networks – Business Support Administrator (band 4 1.0 wte)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the South East Clinical Networks who form part of the Medical Directorate of NHS England South East (Kent Surrey Sussex) and work across the 3 Sustainability and Transformation Partnership (STP) footprints of Kent & Medway, Surrey Heartlands and Sussex & East Surrey to support delivery of the NHS England priority clinical programmes of mental health & dementia, maternity, diabetes and the cardiovascular components of urgent & emergency care. Close collaboration is required both nationally and regionally with colleagues from the national and regional teams along with the other Clinical Networks with associated travel to regional offices and to London.

We are currently seeking a band 4 business support administrator with excellent administrative and organisations skills to work as part of a small business support team in delivering an effective network support service to the management and the quality improvement leads. The post holder will display a considerable degree of initiative, apply a high degree of confidentiality, possess mature judgement and embody the values of NHS England.

In particular the post holder will provide and coordinate administrative and business services including, for example, booking of venues and supporting events as necessary, maintaining a contacts’ database and co-ordinating mailings, raising purchase orders, gathering information and undertaking enquires as and when is necessary to support the team, and the preparation of agendas and minutes.
