If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

Architecture and Cyber Security Team – Operations and Information Directorate

Band 7 – Engagement Support Manager

Location – Leeds

Contract – Fixed Term until 31/03/2019

The Architecture and Cyber Security team within NHS England is responsible for a portfolio of work focussing on information sharing needs within the NHS and social care.

The team work closely with localities and national bodies to understand the information sharing needs, commission development of standards and solutions, work with STPs as well as assessing maturity and progress of digital implementation nationally.

Team members work across NHS England directorates, the NHS England regions and NHS Digital as part of a cross organisational multi- functional team pioneering the transformation of information sharing in the NHS and social care services.

The Engagement Support Manager will provide support to the Engagement Team within the Local Health and Care Record Exemplar (LHCRE) Programme and on the National Cyber Security agenda.

Role Description

As an Engagement Support Manager, you will have expertise in engaging across the NHS and social care with the ability to communicate complex information effectively and confidently utilising good verbal and written communication skills. The post holder will manage a large stakeholder database, ensuring it is regularly cleansed.

The post holder will be able to work on their own initiative to organise and prioritise their workload. The role requires flexibility and the capability to work effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines and/or complex and rapidly changing situations

The role holder will be required to produce communications materials – slide decks etc. for webinars and speaking engagements and will need to analyse and summarise information from a variety of sources and shape the presentation of information for different audiences.

The post holder will require event management experience and be confident at coordinating all event logistics.

Experience of Gateway, PCC and FOI process is a necessity.
