CCGs plan and pay for local services such as hospitals and ambulance services.

Programme of Care Manager - Band 8c

North Region Specialised Commissioning Team

Substantive Post - 37.5 hours per week


The North Region Specialised Commissioning Team are looking to recruit a Programme of Care Manager. 

The role involves working at both national level in supporting Clinical Reference Groups in developing commissioning products to support the commissioning of specialised services; and working within the North Region to support the implementation of those products.

You will work as part of the Specialised Services Commissioning Team for the NHS England, supporting the Assistant Regional Director of Specialised Commissioning (Service Strategy), and sub-regional commissioning hubs in the planning and commissioning of specialised services; and take specific responsibility for the implementation of national service specifications for specific pathways, working with colleagues nationally to support clinical reference groups, coordinate and assure the harmonisation of service models.
