If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

As a Programme Manager, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Manage the System Effectively programme (MtSE).
The post holder will be responsible for assisting the Head of Data Programme Delivery in the implementation and delivery of this programme, supporting the assurance and governance processes.
In line with these responsibilities, the post holder will maintain project leadership and provide professional expertise to the Directorate and to other directorates where appropriate. The post holder will define processes, oversee project delivery in an assurance capacity and maintain key links with stakeholders. They will also use their expertise to ensure that requirements and anticipated benefits are joined up and realistic and to identify key areas for efficiency within the MtSE programme.
The post holder will define current processes, facilitate discussions and advise colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes, document those processes as they are agreed and oversee their delivery.
