A lot of the work we do involves the commissioning of health care services in England. We commission the contracts for GPs, pharmacists, and dentists and we support local health services that are led by groups of GPs called Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). CCGs plan and pay for local services such as hospitals and ambulance services.

We have devised a strategic vision for the NHS, along with our partners in health, called the Five Year Forward View. And now, with our partners, we are delivering that vision. This vision shows that we are getting serious about prevention, identifying and delivering improvements in health care, redesigning the NHS so it continues to meet the needs of patients, ensuring the NHS is financially sustainable and engaging the public in this whole process.

Listening to patients’ experiences of their care – and to the views of the NHS staff who provide it – plays a crucial part in delivering services that are safe, effective and continuously improving. 

When it comes to collecting patient-generated data, the NHS has long been a world leader. It was the first health system to launch national patient surveys and each year we invite more than 15 million people to tell us about their experiences of care and treatment.

As a Senior Insight Account Manager, you will help the team build on this successful track record to ensure NHS England and our commissioning partners understand the diverse populations we serve and deliver improvements in their experiences of care. You will also play a crucial role in the further development of the Friends and Family Test.

We are looking for a senior insight account manager to support the delivery and development of a portfolio of insight tools. Working in health, you will be instrumental in ensuring team delivery supports the needs of a changing health and care system.  An excellent communicator, you will ensure research findings are shared, interrogated and understood, helping to build capability to act on what patients and carers say.

As a senior member of the team, you will be able to demonstrate people management skills to help lead a highly skilled, creative and dedicated team onto the next stage of their development.
