If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

Advert for Transformation Lead (Early Diagnosis) Band 8c

The East Midlands Cancer Alliance is determined to make a positive difference

in improving outcomes for cancer patients by achieving earlier diagnoses of cancers.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to lead our Early Diagnosis team and to drive forward our Transformation programme. The post holder would be expected to deputise for the Head of the Cancer Alliance, when appropriate and to be a key member of EMCA’s Senior Management Team.

The successful candidate will bring substantial management experience, which will include both line management and project management. He or she will have a sound understanding of cancer services and of cancer pathways and understand the complexities of working across organisational boundaries

The post-holder will be able to demonstrate the ability to lead large scale projects with definable outcomes. They will understand the need to address variation in outcomes and access to cancer services and be committed to finding ways to address this.
