If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

We are currently looking to recruit a Band 8A Assurance & delivery Manager to our Central Midlands Team, based at Cross O Cliff Court in Lincolnshire. This is a fixed term position for the period of one year from August 20th 2018 to August 16th 2019.
The post holder will work as part of a small dynamic and motivated team, supporting the Lincolnshire system to deliver an effective service, working alongside Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) as part of the local system, in assurance of plans, actions and system resilience.
In addition, there will be a local requirement in supporting the emergency preparedness, resilience and response.
Lincolnshire is going through a large amount of change in the collaborative work around the STP and ensuring plans and processes support the whole system to make improvements and sustainable change. The local team is working alongside the health systems to support the changes and ensure that patients get high quality and effective care and staff are supported effectively.
The aim of the role will be to work with the locality team staff and CCGs in their commissioning of high quality, safe, patient and client-centred services and partnerships with Local Authorities, service providers, patients and the public within the framework of the NHS Constitution.
The post is responsible for providing professional expertise and supporting the system to manage their portfolio and deliver against transformation and performance requirements. The post holder will support in defining current processes, assist in facilitation of discussions and support colleagues as to how best practice might be adopted in the definition of future processes. Once in place, to then monitor, support and oversee the delivery.
There are three locality teams as part of the Central Midlands area:
- North Locality- Lincolnshire-where this post is based
- Central Locality -based at Fosse House in Leicester
- South Locality-Based at Charter House in Welwyn Garden City
The three localities work closely together in sharing good practice, reviewing processes and ensuring consistency across systems. There are regular focus meetings to review key areas such as planning, activity, constitutional standards
