If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

As a senior manager in the Delivery Team for NHS England North Region – Cheshire & Merseyside, the post-holder will work as part of a team responsible for assurance of CCGs and for delivery of key performance targets.
Working to the Head of Assurance & Delivery, the post-holder will work with CCGs, A&E Delivery Boards and other partners across the Cheshire & Merseyside Health & Care Partnership in order to:
- Support clinicians and managers in the delivery of NHS constitutional standards and to improve and sustain performance
- Develop NHS England’s understanding of commissioners priorities and plans
- Develop a sound understanding of CCG governance processes
- Develop a good working relationships with organisations across Cheshire & Merseyside, contributing to the development of the Cheshire & Merseyside Health & Care Partnership
In particular, the post-holder will work with the Head of Assurance & Delivery to ensure delivery of the Five Year Forward View, improve performance against constitutional standards and to ensure the robust development and delivery of CCG recovery plans where required. The post holder will support the Head of Delivery to monitor and assess CCG's against the Improvement and Assessment Framework and ensure CCGs comply with the requirements of Strategic Planning for 2017 - 2019.

- Assurance of CCG plans
- Assurance of CCG performance
- Performance management of CCGs against key NHS constitutional standards
- Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR)
