If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

We are looking for a highly motivated Business Support Officer to support the Mental Health Team to deliver a portfolio of projects, services and initiatives. The Mental Health Team has responsibility for commissioning specialised mental health services in the London Region, including transformation programmes for CAMHs, adult secure, Transforming Care and non-secure specialised mental health services.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out a wide range of administrative duties including updating the SMH and AT databases, supporting New Care Model sites to ensure SMH data is accurate, arranging meetings and large scale events, diary and communications management, preparing letters, reports, agendas and supporting papers, writing accurate minutes, data and information analysis, and other administrative duties as required.

The successful candidate will have significant administrative/secretarial experience with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes. They will demonstrate excellent communication and prioritisation skills, the ability to work well under pressure and be able to manage competing priorities.

The post holder will be based in Skipton House, London (SE1 6LH) but may occasionally be required to attend off site venues to support events.
