If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

NHS England’s (London) immunisation team has an exciting permanent job opportunity for an immunisation commissioning officer. Based at Skipton House in London region, the immunisation commissioning officer will work as part of an integrated (NHS England and embedded Public Health England) team to support the local commissioning of nationally defined immunisation programmes as part of the section 7A agreement.
The post holder will provide direct commissioning support and advice to commissioning managers, working within a defined geographical patch area. A key focus of the post is to support the local commissioning of programmes, monitor and review provider performance against agreed outcomes, draft and prepare reports and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to improve vaccine uptake and coverage in London and reduce health inequalities.
The post holder will be expected to travel across London as part of their day-to-day work and represent the team and organisation at local stakeholder meetings.
This is a senior role that would suit a passionate, self-motivated individual with experience in healthcare commissioning.
