If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

Head of QIPP PMO - Band 8c – Specialised Commissioning, NHS England (London)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS England’s Specialised Commissioning (London) team to manage the delivery of the end-to-end Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) programme cycle.
This incorporates working across the local health economy to identify QIPP pipeline opportunities, enable, influence and hold to account commissioners and clinical leads to develop and test business cases, support the mobilisation and enable the ongoing monitoring of delivery of schemes. The role is also responsible for reporting on finance, activity and quality improvements as part of monthly reports for NHS England.
As Head of QIPP the post holder will work in the Specialised Commissioning directorate, building on efficiencies and quality improvements across specialised services in London. Reporting to the Regional Director for Specialised Commissioning (London), the post holder will oversee that the directorate’s QIPP priorities are well managed within its financial envelope, whilst ensuring consistency and a central point of support for directorate colleagues.
Working closely with the wider Specialised Commissioning Directorate, the work is closely aligned to National and regional reviews. This work will have critical interfaces with the two-year planning and contracting round, and QIPP/improving value delivery.
