If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

This opportunity has arisen in the NCEL Finance Team for Specialised Commissioning which is responsible for commissioning all the prescribed Specialist Services and mental health provision from 15 London providers with a budget of c.£1.8bn. The post has a key support role in performance managing this substantial commissioning budget.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Specialised Commissioning function. This involves supporting and informing the targeting of resources, monitoring and reporting on the commissioning budget and delivery of financial recovery/savings plans by providing high quality information and financial analysis. The post holder will work as part of a team to ensure that the work stream of programmes are planned and managed effectively and take the lead in specified areas to assist in their successful delivery.
