If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a six month secondment to join the London RightCare team as Programme Coordination and Support Lead based at Skipton House.

NHS RightCare is a national NHS England supported programme, contributing to the financial sustainability of the NHS which is a key priority of its Five Year Forward View. The programme helps to ensure the best possible care is delivered as efficiently as possible which is essential for both patients and the NHS. Ensuring people access the right care, in the right place at the right time, means more people can be treated effectively, now and in the future. Using leading edge medical evidence and practical support, NHS RightCare helps local health economies to understand how money is spent to deliver the best care in different parts of the country. 

NHS London RightCare team actively works with every clinical commissioning group (CCG) and Sustainable Transformation partnership (STP) in London and comprises professionals providing delivery, analytical, clinical advisory and programme management resource both internally and externally across the region.

The Programme Coordination and Support Lead (PMO Lead) will be involved in managing a period of change and help support shaping the regional RightCare offer. The role will oversee the programme deliverables for the next six months and further establish and embed programme management methodologies across the London RightCare team. The post holder will line manage a Business Manager and Population Health lead, Analysts, and have matrix working with Programme Managers and Delivery Partners.

The secondment will be until 31st March 2019.
