If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the operational implementation of any digital enablers within Ambulance Services that support the safe reduction in conveyances to A&E. This includes (but is not limited to) the Personal Demographics Service (PDS), products within the Access to Records (A2R) workstream, the Directory of Services (DoS) and any of their successors.
The post holder is expected to assist the NHS England National DoS Lead and NHS England A2SI Assurance Lead in contributing detailed knowledge and understanding of complex NHS business processes into business change management activities, to ensure that the digital enablers are fully accessed and utilised within Ambulance Services, and meet the needs and requirements of the wider Health and Social Care system, including the work of the Urgent and Emergency Care Review.
The post holder will act as a key conduit between operational and ICT teams at Ambulance Services. and relevant stakeholders at NHS England and NHS Digital. They will ensure that any communications, requirements and suggested developments for the future are collated, assessed, and shared as appropriate.
The post holder will work closely with stakeholders including NHS England, NHS Digital, Providers, Commissioners, system suppliers and DoS Leads.
The post holder will help to coordinate between NHS Digital, system suppliers and Ambulance Services to achieve the Ambulance Integration Programme objectives in relation to digital enabler utilisation.
The post holder will contribute to the digital operational requirements that result from developments in the NHS England Ambulance Integration Programme and NHS Digital Access to Service Information programme, and provide reports and updates to both programmes as required.
The post holder will be responsible for engaging with regional and local DoS Leads and teams to ensure the quality, consistency and efficacy of the DoS information that serves Ambulance Services e.g. specific Ambulance pathways.
The post holder will be responsible for improving the awareness of DoS by health organisations that receive referrals by Ambulance Services, so that its function is understood and known throughout the health community.
The post holder will liaise with the supplier organisation (i.e. NHS Digital) regarding the delivery of digital enablers to Ambulance Services and any incidents that arise.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across Ambulance Services and other stakeholders in England to improve the uptake and utilisation of digital enablers.
The role supports the business in driving transformation as well as value for money in planning, commissioning and service. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service delivery capability.
