If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a project manager to work within the Lancashire & South Cumbria Cancer Alliance. The post holder will work within the ‘Earlier Diagnosis’ Work Stream on a project to implement  Multi Diagnostic Clinics for patients with vague symptoms with a suspicion of a cancer diagnosis  across the 4 Localities within the Lancashire & South Cumbria Cancer Alliance(East Lancashire/Blackpool/Morecambe Bay/Preston). 


The post holder will be required to travel around these 4 Localities and will be based within Preston Business Centre.  A minimum of 2 years NHS experience is essential with a knowledge of cancer services desirable.  If you would like to discuss the post further please contact Juliette Brookfield, Programme Manager (07837 578737) or Dr Neil Smith  (0777682022)
