North Region Specialised Commissioning Team - Yorkshire and Humber Hub

Senior Project Manager (Mental Health) - Band 8a

Fixed Term / Secondment Post up until 30 September 2019

Full time 37.5 hours per week

Applications are sought from suitably experienced/qualified Mental Health/Learning Disability practitioners for a Mental Health Programme Manager post. The post will

be based in The NHS England Yorkshire and Humber Hub (Specialised Mental Health Team) and will involve work across the Yorkshire and Humber area.

The post holder will work to support the Transformation Programme within the hub and will work closely with the Mental Health Lead, Mental health Supplier Managers leading on the programmes and the wider Mental Health Case Management team to ensure that the programme targets are achieved.

The post holder will be responsible for:

  • Leading the MH PMO function in the Hub, supporting the MH team to deliver on the service reviews taking place, including CAMHS and adult secure transformation.
  • Ensuring alignment of the local plans with the national direction of travel, supporting discussions with other regions.
  • Deputising for the MH lead at key meetings as required
  • Supporting the team with robust planning and management of key deadlines, including managing risk registers associated
