If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

As a Programme Manager NPL validation, the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Primary Care Commissioning team in Operations & Information Directorate.
The post holder will support the Senior Manager, Primary Medical Services commissioning & NPL, in leading and supporting regional and local teams who manage the statutory responsibilities set out in the Performers List Regulations.
The role supports the delivery of the required outcomes relevant to the implementation of these regulations and underpins the responsibilities set out in the Responsible Officer Regulation. The post holder is responsible for providing professional expertise regarding the performer’s list work and to work in partnership with all stakeholders to drive forwards the service transformation required. The post will support the team in providing leadership and training across NHS England.
Specifically the post holder will lead a programme in validating the NPL ensuring that NHS England is meeting its statutory duty to publish and maintain an accurate NPL for public inspection. The post holder will also support the development of guidance, training and specialist advice to support local teams to transition to the PCSE online due later this year.
