If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The NHS England – South East (HIOW) Commissioning Team aims to help protect the health and well-being of the people in our geographical area of responsibility throughout the course of their lives, by ensuring access to high quality, cost effective screening and immunisation programmes.
The key elements of this role are assisting with the management of contracts, performance and payments for services delivered by GPs, NHS Trusts and independent sector organisations; it will also involve support to the delivery of a range of related activities.
The successful candidate will be well organised, adaptable and able to manage multiple priorities. It is important that you are highly skilled in the use of computer packages, in particular Microsoft Word and Excel (to intermediate level) and able to interpret, analyse and present a range of complex information. You will be confident communicating with internal and external stakeholders. Attention to detail is essential. Experience of working in a commissioning and/or contracting environment would be an advantage.
The role may require some, but not extensive, travel across the Hampshire, Dorset and Isle of Wight areas and occasionally to our regional Head Office in Reading and meetings in London.
