If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The Nursing & Quality Directorate is responsible for developing a strategic approach to ensuring people have a positive experience of care and treatment and that people are cared for in a safe environment, relating to Domains 4 and 5 of the NHS Outcomes Framework.

The Team engage with a wide range of stakeholders, including commissioners, senior clinicians and members of provider organisations. The Directorate is also responsible for promoting and sharing good practice around patient safety and patient experience work streams.

An opportunity has become available for a 12 month fixed term contract/secondment. The post holder will work as part of the clinical leadership team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Midlands and East (Central Midlands).

The post holder will support the Central Midlands Nursing and Quality Team to ensure that their work programme, including safeguarding, national clinical priorities and patient safety activities relating to Domain 5 of the NHS Outcomes Framework are planned and managed effectively, taking the lead in assisting in their successful delivery.
