If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

Do you want to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to transforming cancer services across the West Midlands? An exciting secondment opportunity has arisen to support the West Midlands Cancer Alliance as Senior Finance Manager. You will provide high quality financial expertise and advice to support the planning, commissioning and delivery of cancer services.
The Cancer Alliance is set to receive in excess of £15M this year to transform cancer services across the West Midlands. A large part of this role will be to ensure effective systems are in place to manage the effective flow of these resources into CCGs and STPs. You will manage the financial reporting of these programmes supporting the production of business cases as required. You will provide assurance to ensure that there is compliance and adherence to the Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs). This will be a rewarding, exciting opportunity that will involve working with a range of teams from across the six STPs of the West Midlands working together to improve the outcomes of patients with cancer.
