If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

An exciting Secondment/Fixed Term opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and ambitious Contract Manager to work within the Commissioning Directorate of NHS England (West Midlands) based at Wildwood, Worcester (although requests to work from St Chad’s, Birmingham will be considered). The postholder will be expected to travel throughout the NHS England (West Midlands) Local Office.

The post will be for the period until 31st March 2019 initially in line with current restrictions in place relating to recruitment. Any extension beyond this date is dependent on HR and finance approval. Reporting to the Supplier Manager (Dental), the post holder will manage secondary care dental contracts across the Local Office as well as scrutinising invoices for non-contracted activity received from elsewhere. The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting senior managers and staff across the Commissioning Directorate.

The post holder will be part of the Secondary Care Dental Team which forms part of the wider Dental team within the NHS England (West Midlands) Local Office.
