If the advertised role is based in London on an Agenda for Change Pay Band, it will attract a High Cost Area supplement. This supplement is not applicable to Executive or Senior Manager or Medical Leader positions. For positions offered on a part time basis, salary and any allowances will be adjusted pro rata.

The Primary Care Advice, Support and Transformation Team (PCASTT) is a jointly operated team of contract and finance staff and is led by the Head of Commissioning.  An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Officer,  you will be based at Wildwood and will work with a small team of finance staff, whose primary functions are to provide an efficient service to delegated CCGs across the West Midlands, including payments to GP Practices.

 

You will support in the provision of high quality specialist financial information, professional financial support and advice, including financial planning, budget setting, contract pricing and procurement of primary care services. The provision of regular timely monthly financial monitoring reports to budget holders and managers will be an integral part of this job.

 

Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager, you will work to ensure that PCASTT is an exemplar of its type .You will work with initiative, have excellent interpersonal, communications and analytical skills, and be able to work to very strict deadlines.

 

Applicants will preferably be CCAB qualified, although applications are welcomed from candidates with extensive Primary Care contracting and management accounting experience.
